In the roles of architectural and interior consultants, Síol is participating along side some of the Nations leading design consultants and ecological developers. They will assist the Institute in developing its master plan and retreat facilities. The objective for this project is to create self-sustaining systems and an off the grid facility. |
Park(ing) Day, 2008
Two opposing parking spaces on Fillmore Street, north of Sacramento Street, were temporarily transformed into public spaces to promote community and to further the discussion around our shared urban spaces. Promoting a new contextual strategy that reconfigures the conventional street hierarchy of cars first to one where the pace of the pedestrian is of primary concern. |
Ross Residence
Conceptual design for a tree house that would also serve as an autonomous guest house. This spherical design takes into special consideration the protection of the tree through its specially designed structural supports. |
